White Crane

She saw the crane across the bay
A pillar of snow
Albino she surmised
She lifted her leg
Her arms she wound as as though she held the moon
To honor him

Then her eyes cleared
And she saw a man
A white hoodie his wear
He saw her in her yogic pose
He smiled and waved a morning hello.
