We have four grandchildren here to play all day while one daughter works and the other visits friends north of here. The leftovers are starting to dwindle. I finished the bag of Peppermint Patties, my favorite candy given to me by one of my daughters. This is how I deal with the problem of someone giving me something I deem not good for me: I hurry up and eat it so any damage is done swiftly and I can quickly return to health.
I realized that with the hubbub of celebrating Christmas on Sunday, I didn’t follow through with a commentary on the scriptures of the 4th Sunday of Advent. Alas. I hope that didn’t screw with anyone’s spirituality.
In case you are thinking I am at a loss of what to write about, you’d be right. I hope your homes are full of peace in the afterglow of Christmas today.
