Hanging Clothes with Jackson

I took a walk this morning. I haven’t been exercising as I have been going through some gray days and for some reason, when I feel gray, I don’t exercise and I do eat and I feel bored and I don’t get much done. In spite of that, Bernie and I just about completed the spring chore of laying paper and grass clippings in or garden. Well, hey! That was exercise.

Grandson, Jackson, is here with me. He is laying out on the picnic table with his blankie waiting for me to come out to hang another basket of clothes. He has the job of  handing me the clothespins but likes to keep me in suspense as he holds one behind his back and grins. It takes twice as long to hang clothes, but keeping a three year old occupied is as important as the wash.
