New computer, update to Windows 10. Things are not as different as I feared. My first meltdown almost came when I couldn’t get into my blog site. I tried to change my password five or six times. Finally I realized my user name was wrong in the first place…I changed the password for no reason. Alas. But I was told my password was “weak” anyway. Now it is “strong”. That is progress, I think. From weak to strong in five minute.
I haven’t been able to write for a few days. I have been trying to get my pictures from Israel off to my son so that he can post them on my site if I ask him to do so. I still don’t know how to do pictures on the internet so he will be able to do that for me from now on. I do know how to send a picture via text off of my phone right after I take the picture, thought.
My one disappointment about the trip was my picture taking. It was a mistake to go with a new phone that I’d had only one month. I had received several tutorials at Radio Shack for learning how to use the phone but only about 5 minutes to learn how to taking pictures. When I got to Israel, I found myself making awful mistakes, including taking a series of twenty pictures instead of just one. Or pictures were blurry because my hand was shaking. Someone told me that I can hold the phone with two hand if I turn it sideways. That helped. When I got home, I realized I had not taken pictures of any of the significant people that I met there. I was so busy taking pictures of churches and archaeological remains that I totally didn’t take any of people. I can’t say I feel very good about that.
I want to write 2 or 3 more reports about my trip in the days to come.
I noticed that many folks visited yesterday…are people actually waiting for me to come back. How sweet!
